New HTC U11 Camera Samples Prove Cameras Worth

A set of HTC U11’s camera samples surfaced a couple of days ago, and now we have yet another such set of images to talk about. This new set was also uploaded to Flickr, and there are quite a few images included in it. That being said, these images are actually great, they’re quite clear, with plenty of detail and colors are also spot on, even in low-lit environments. Now, this is not all that surprising considering that the HTC U11 has one of the best cameras on smartphones at the moment, it is currently the highest-ranked smartphone by DxOMark, actually. We did not get a chance to test the HTC U11’s camera just yet, but as soon as we do, you’ll be the first to know, Until then, we can only look at the provided images and see what we’re missing. The HTC U11 is actually HTC’s all new flagship smartphone, and aside from a great camera, it packs quite a punch in some other areas as well. Having said that, the HTC U11 features a 12-megapixel camera on its back, which comes with an f/1.7 aperture, while this is a BSI sensor we’re looking at here. HTC’s UltraPixel 3 technology is also included here, pixels are quite large, 1.4um, to be exact.

The HTC U11 features a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, and the device packs in a 3,000mAh non-removable battery on the inside. A 16-megapixel shooter is placed on the front side of this smartphone, and the HTC U11 is made out of metal and glass, while it also comes with some interesting, unique features. The sides of this device are actually squeezable, which means that you will be able to apply some pressures on the sides in order to trigger certain actions, like launch the camera, for example.
